The Kelpie

Tangled in the sticky mass of seaweed and mane, a young woman, bewitched into climbing onto the back of a beautiful horse, is now dragged to her death by the Kelpie- a shapeshifting sea monster from Gaelic folklore...
The kelpie is known to take the form of a beautiful stallion or a handsome young man, to lure its victims into touching it- the victim is tangled in the creature's hair or mane as it transforms and returns to the freezing waters to devour (or sometimes even take prisoner) the helpless human.
