Wold

The semi-aquatic wold has an extremely slow metabolism, and spends much of its time basking in tidal pools, humming strangely, and looking like it’s waiting to hear some juicy gossip. It’s difficult to get close enough to speak to them OR do them much damage, due to their thick hides, numbingly loud humming, and ghostly, unsettling staring.
